At our center, we regularly hold a lecture series called the "Environmental Science Seminar" aimed at providing and promoting information related to the environment and hygiene for citizens. This year, it will take place on Saturday, November 15th. We are pleased to have Dr. Takeshi Ochiai from the Kanagawa Prefectural Institute of Industrial Technology, a local independent administrative institution, deliver a lecture titled "The Future of Living Created by Photocatalysts." Photocatalysts are materials that use natural forces such as light and water to decompose and remove dirt and harmful substances. While it may sound complicated, they are actually utilized in everyday products like wall materials, window glass, and air purifiers. In this seminar, we will clearly introduce photocatalysts, a dream material that is environmentally friendly, safe, and contributes to the future of society. Additionally, we will set up an exhibition booth where you can experience the effects of photocatalysts, so please come and try it out.
