Yocto Project Official Practical Course (LFD461-JP) January Announcement

It consists of detailed explanations and exercises about the core BitBake and tools of the Yocto Project.

Linux is an important technology in cutting-edge fields that are currently major topics of discussion, such as AI, autonomous driving, and IoT. There is a growing interest in the Yocto Project as the necessary Linux for its development, and the adoption of Yocto BSP (Board Support Package) as a development environment is increasing. On the other hand, since Yocto BSP uses terms like "recipe," "layer," "Poky," and "BitBake," it is built on a different approach and system than before, making understanding and mastering it a challenge. To address this situation and support our customers' product development, we will hold an official practical course on the Yocto Project, integrating the knowledge and know-how gained from the Yocto-related development, support, and seminars that Lino has conducted so far. The course will consist of detailed explanations and exercises about BitBake and tools that are central to the Yocto Project. The exercises are designed to reflect actual development environments, and by progressing through them, participants can expect to overcome the difficulties and complexities of BitBake, leading to the realization that "BitBake is not scary."
