The amount of white ink has doubled. The Direct to Film printer TY-300 achieves high-quality printing with higher efficiency and greater stability.
Roland DG Corporation, a global leader in digital printing solutions, has equipped its latest Direct To Film (DTF) transfer printer model TY-300 with new features that enhance workflow efficiency and quality stability. This printer has evolved further as a powerful support tool for the apparel business.
The key highlight of the TY-300 update is the increased amount of white ink used for base printing, which is in high demand within the DTF workflow. The addition of ink slots allows for the installation of four white ink cartridges, doubling the previous capacity. Furthermore, the adoption of an ink switching system reduces the complexity of ink changes and minimizes downtime caused by ink shortages, enabling continuous operation. At the same time, it minimizes the impact on print quality from interruptions or burning in the shaker, ensuring higher quality and more stable output operations.
Additionally, new profiles have been prepared to achieve stable printing in various environments. These profiles reduce the unique streaks and unevenness associated with DTF, allowing for high-quality printing on a wider variety of third-party media.
