What we aim to achieve is to transform the market for steel plates, which has been taken for granted until now, into one that utilizes wood. Of course, there are reasons why steel plates have been used for many years, and they are important materials that support the field. However, there are also issues that need to be reconsidered, such as the burden of transportation due to their weight, the hassle of installation and removal, the rise in surface temperature during summer, and environmental impact.
That is why we want to propose a new option: wood.
Wooden sheets are not just alternative materials. They offer lightness, ease of handling, a friendly working environment, and environmental consideration. There is potential to add new value against the conventional wisdom.
The hyper CLT sheets we are working on (NETIS registration number: TH-250021-A) are precisely one of those challenges. We want to gradually change the fixed notion that "sheets must be made of steel" and promote wooden sheets as truly user-friendly materials that are suitable for the future. That is our business vision.
