[New Product] A "Safety Block Usage Detection System" that automatically detects the non-use of safety blocks for fall accident prevention in high-altitude work has been introduced!
In high-altitude work, the reliable use of safety blocks (fall arrest equipment) is required. However, there are not a few cases where human errors, such as forgetting to connect the hook due to focusing too much on the task, lead to accidents.
To address such issues, Yoshikawa Industrial has newly developed a "Safety Block Usage Detection System" that automatically detects the usage status of safety blocks. This system uses detection devices that can be retrofitted to safety blocks and tags carried by workers to automatically determine the usage status of the safety blocks. If the safety block is not in use in a hazardous area, an alarm is triggered to alert the worker.
Additionally, by using it in conjunction with the existing "Harness Alert," it is also possible to centrally manage the usage status of full harness-type safety belts and safety blocks. This supports the enhancement of safety management at sites involving high-altitude work, such as bridge construction and equipment inspections.
Details about the mechanism and features of this product are introduced on the product page. Please take a look.
