[Event Report] Oita Prefecture, Oita University "Advanced Technology Agora"
At the "Advanced Technology Agora" held on February 20 at Oita University in Oita Prefecture, a joint research project with our company (Denken Co., Ltd.) was introduced during a presentation by the Oita Prefectural Industrial Science and Technology Center.
The project titled "Establishment of a Measurement Method for Variations in Magnetization Direction of Permanent Magnets" (Development of a Magnetization Angle Evaluation Device) was presented.
In this research, we established a technology to evaluate the deviation in magnetization angle of permanent magnets with high precision based on IEC60404-14 (pull-out method). Furthermore, our company has been appointed as a domestic committee member of IEC/TC68 and is the only participant from Japan in the WG5 international round-robin test, actively working on verification based on international standards.
The research results are being commercialized as the magnetization angle evaluation device "MAGNIX."
This exchange meeting serves as a platform for research collaboration between the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Oita University and the Oita Prefectural Industrial Science and Technology Center. This time, AIST, Oita National College of Technology, and local companies also participated, reporting on initiatives related to GX and DX.
We will continue to promote technological advancement and social implementation through collaboration with regional research institutions.
