Canon releases the "Cable ID Printer Mk2600" with expanded memory capacity.

Canon Marketing Japan Inc. (President: Masahiro Sakata, hereinafter referred to as Canon MJ) will launch the new "Mk2600" cable ID printer, manufactured by Canon Finetech Inc. (President: Kazuaki Ryogaku), for marking printing applications such as wiring tubes and label tapes, starting in late February.
The cable ID printer is a device that prints identification numbers on cables and labels used in electrical equipment distribution boards, industrial manufacturing equipment wiring, and maintenance of production lines. The "Mk2600" is the successor to the "Mk2500," which was released in 2011, inheriting class-leading printing speed performance while enhancing convenience through expanded memory capacity and improved automatic numbering functions.
In the major customer segment of the electrical installation industry, a large number of tubes and labels are used in wiring work for distribution boards, leading to stable demand for cable printers. In recent years, the demand for cable marking printing has been expanding for wiring of industrial manufacturing equipment and maintenance of production lines. Additionally, the recent increase in corporate capital investment has contributed to rising demand. (According to Canon MJ research)
