New Japan Radio has developed the "NJR4266 series," a low-profile, low-power 24GHz band module that incorporates signal processing functions into the microwave sensor "WaveEyes" series. This product integrates a 24GHz band microwave circuit, antenna, signal amplification circuit, and microcontroller (MCU) into a compact size of 17.2x27.3x5.1mm, enabling the detection of moving objects such as people. This product achieves approximately 96% lower power consumption and about 40% lower profile compared to our conventional products, and offers multiple product lineups that allow for the selection of optimal detection angles tailored to various applications, making it suitable for a wide range of uses.
【Features】
1. Excellent environmental resistance for moving object detection through the combination of 24GHz band microwave and proprietary signal processing.
2. All components from antenna to signal processing are implemented in a low-profile package.
Compact and low-profile size of 17.2x27.3x5.1mm with a 24GHz band microwave circuit.
3. Low power consumption.
By optimizing the detection range and intermittent operation conditions, and allowing for variable settings, we achieved a minimum operating current of 1.9mA, which is less than 1/25th of the 50mA of our conventional products.
