In this case study, we assessed the degree of cuticle opening, the distribution of adhered substances, and the roughness evaluation of different areas through images, as well as quantitatively evaluated the surface roughness through numerical processing. This method is effective for evaluating the condition of hair after shampooing and the application state after applying styling products.
