Nichicon has expanded the compact size of its long-life, small, low-impedance lead-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor "UHW Series," primarily used for LED lighting and power supplies, and improved its durability for 63-100V applications.

The "UHW Series" achieves a maximum durability of 12,000 hours (at 105°C), which is the highest level in the industry for low-impedance products used in power supplies, by using an electrolyte that optimizes product design and enhances low impedance and long life. In terms of miniaturization, compared to the current UHE series, for a size of Φ10x16L (mm), the capacitance has increased from 820μF to 1200μF, achieving approximately 1.5 times higher capacitance. For low impedance, in the case of the 100V product with a size of Φ5x11L (mm), an approximately 50% reduction in impedance has been achieved. The "UHW Series" is ideal for LED lighting and various power supplies where long life, compact size, and low impedance are required.
