Nichicon has developed the "GYB Series" of conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which guarantee high performance in response to the demands for aluminum electrolytic capacitors in the consumer and industrial equipment sectors, featuring high temperature, long life, and high ripple capability with a guarantee of 10,000 hours at 105°C.

The conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitor utilizes a conductive polymer and electrolyte in its electrolyte, combining the low ESR performance and high heat resistance characteristic of conductive polymers with the oxidation film repair capability provided by the electrolyte. By optimizing the film formation process of the conductive polymer and using an electrolyte that is compatible with the conductive polymer, we have achieved a ripple current tolerance that is 1.2 to 1.4 times higher compared to the current GYA series. Additionally, we have realized a long lifespan guarantee of 10,000 hours at 105°C.
