Digi International Inc., a global leading provider of IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity products and services (headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, with Mike Gergen as CEO), recently announced that SmartDrive Inc. (headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, with Akira Kitagawa as CEO), a leading provider of telematics and vehicle management services, has adopted the Digi ConnectCore 6UL, a secure wireless system on module (SOM), as the development platform for its recently announced GPS-based real-time vehicle management system "DriveOps."
