(Case Study) Picking with AGVs and Collaborative Robots

At the booth of 【Toyota L&F】, which is exhibiting at the "Logistics Exhibition" running until tomorrow, you can see a demonstration of picking using our tool changer and electric gripper.
A collaborative robot being developed by Mitsubishi Electric is mounted on an AGV, and our tool changer is used in its hand section. The airless tool changer eliminates the need for a compressor on the AGV, making it easy to configure in combination with the AGV. Additionally, our gripper MPLM1630 and Schmalz's "Cobot Pump" are used on the tool side, allowing for a configuration that does not require air piping and facilitates easy access to return boxes.
This is a case that we highly recommend for users considering the combination of AGVs and collaborative robots for tasks such as work assistance.
