Can you explain why you are using that amount of desiccant?

When we ask users the question in the title:
- They have been using silica gel somewhat instinctively.
- They thought it was better to have it than not.
- It was specified in the specifications.
- The amount had been set before they took over.
We often receive vague responses like these.
At our company, when conducting trials using samples, we gather information on:
- The area of the space being used
- The duration of use
- The barrier film used alongside the desiccant
After that, we calculate the required amount and propose recommended product numbers and quantities.
When we calculate the usage amount, we find that:
- In reality, more desiccant was needed.
- They were using more desiccant than necessary.
This allows us to understand the minimum required amount of desiccant needed to prevent rust and mold on products while keeping costs to a minimum.
If you are considering the amount of desiccant used or cost reduction, please feel free to contact us.
