Report on the 23rd Mount Fuji Club Cleaning Activity

Our Tōmei Group conducts a cleanup of Mount Fuji twice a year. We held the 23rd cleanup on November 2nd!
▶ What is the Mount Fuji Cleanup…
It is a community cleaning activity based on the concept of "Let's make this town, where Mount Fuji can be seen, beautiful."
This time we cleaned around Suzukawa Seaside Sports Park.
Near the sea, many pieces of trash were washed ashore due to the recent typhoon, with a large portion being plastic bottles.
In the park, cans and plastic bottles were also found hidden among the grass, and the most common item was cigarette butts...
Although it appeared to be a clean area at first glance, we were surprised by the amount of trash once we started cleaning.
I hope that little by little, our efforts will help make it cleaner.
This time, in addition to employees and their families, we were joined by the "Choko Beautification Promotion Team," also known as "Choko Bi," organized by the Environmental Affairs Division of Fuji City, which our Tōmei Group is a part of.
A total of 126 people participated, and we collected 250 kg of trash.
Thank you to everyone who cooperated‼️
We will continue our cleanup activities and aim to be the number one clean area! ☺
