Integradde Project

The Integradde project was initiated to develop a new END-TO-END solution to demonstrate the potential of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) for the manufacturing of certified large metal components in the strategic metal processing field. Aiming to develop new manufacturing methods that ensure product design, manufacturability, reliability, and quality of metal components, the project conducts the following research while accommodating a mass customization manufacturing approach: building strategic optimization, multi-scale and multi-physics modeling, hardware-independent construction processes, generation of automated construction strategies, and online self-adaptive control and inline quality assurance for the manufacturing of certified metal components.
