Added authentication feature for Wi-Fi connections to enhance security during network connections - Firmware upgrade for switch and router products -

Allied Telesis, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Akira Oshima) has upgraded the firmware for its switch and router products, "AlliedWare Plus (AW+)," and has started the download service for the new firmware "AW+ Ver. 5.5.0-1.3" from our website on October 2.
This upgrade implements enhancements related to the "Captive Portal," which automatically connects to a pre-configured authentication web page when using smart devices via Wi-Fi, allowing for network connection authentication.
