The AT-x220-28GS is a Layer 2 plus Gigabit Intelligent Switch equipped with 28 SFP slots. This product is a unique switch that, while being an L2 switch, adopts optical communication ports as standard interfaces. Generally, optical communication is resistant to external influences, making it suitable for networks operated near devices that generate electromagnetic waves and noise, as well as for building long-distance communication networks. Additionally, this product supports a wide variety of SFP modules, such as copper modules and single-core modules, allowing it to be used as a consolidated media converter. For example, in wide-area fiber connection configurations for factories or municipalities, when using the single-core fiber-compatible SFP module AT-SPBD series to save on core lines, it is possible to build a flexible configuration that does not rely on traditional one-to-one media converter connections.
