This product is a pressure switch that monitors the pressure and density of SF6 gas, which is used as an electrical insulating medium. It is equipped in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) and gas circuit breakers (GCB) at nuclear, thermal, and hydroelectric power plants, as well as substations, and continuously monitors the pressure and density of SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) gas 24 hours a day. The pressure changes of SF6 gas due to temperature are corrected by a bimetal, maintaining the indicated pressure nearly constant at the rated pressure.
