The CentreCOM Secure HUB GS980M series is a Layer 2 plus gigabit intelligent switch that offers both Non-PoE+ and PoE+ models, equipped with gigabit interfaces on all ports. Each model features 48 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, allowing for the consolidation of connected devices into this product during replacement, thereby reducing both equipment costs and operational management costs in environments where numerous devices are distributed across multiple small port switches. Furthermore, the PoE model has a power supply capacity of up to 740W per chassis, enabling simultaneous power supply to 24 PoE devices of PoE class 4 (PoE+30W) across all ports, making it ideal for high-density single-channel wireless LAN environments and edge switches in high-security areas with numerous IP cameras. In addition to various authentication functions and hardware packet filtering required for edge switches, this product enhances manageability and security through integration with application proxies.
