The National Research and Development Agency, Japan Atomic Energy Agency, has started a joint research project with Kyushu University on advanced wastewater treatment (low concentration treatment of fluoride).

Our company (WEF Technology Development) has been deploying its uniquely developed water treatment technology (patented) both domestically and internationally up to now.
This technology involves fixing carbon and metals (such as aluminum, iron, magnesium, etc.), and when it is introduced into water, electricity flows from the carbon to the metal, causing metal ions to dissolve.
The dissolved metal ions immediately transform into hydroxides, which adsorb negatively charged heavy metals suspended in the water, leading to precipitation treatment.
The advantage of this treatment technology is that its initial and running costs are very low compared to other technologies, and despite this, it can treat relatively difficult-to-process substances such as fluoride and arsenic to low concentrations that other technologies cannot achieve.
