Achieving the world's fastest (up to 700,000 tablets/hour*) high-precision tablet inspection, the newly developed tablet inspection device TIE-10000.

Ikeuchi Communication Co., Ltd. has evolved the horizontal belt conveying method, achieving the world's fastest processing capacity of up to 700,000 tablets per hour* and enabling high-precision full-surface inspection of tablets with the newly developed tablet inspection device TIE-10000. Sales will begin in December 2020, primarily targeting the pharmaceutical industry.
The TIE-10000 achieves the world's fastest processing capacity of up to 700,000 tablets per hour* by employing a supply and alignment section that stably supplies a large number of tablets and aligns them evenly with high precision, combined with the cutting-edge horizontal belt conveying technology from Ikeuchi Communication. The conveying speed is adjustable to match the characteristics of the tablets, allowing for stable transport by setting the optimal speed for delicate OD tablets (oral disintegrating tablets) or tablets that are prone to rolling.
The camera section utilizes a newly developed special optical system, enabling full-surface inspection from more viewpoints than ever before, significantly improving the detection accuracy of slight dirt near the edges compared to conventional machines. Additionally, advanced pattern matching processing and image processing techniques, such as color inspection to detect dirt and discoloration, achieve even higher defect detection accuracy.
* As of October 2020, based on our research (φ5mm FC tablet).
