Since the detector is simply installed on the outside of the piping, no processing of the piping is required. Sanitary separate display type UA102-Sani Series Operating Principle: When ultrasonic waves propagate through a liquid, the propagation time changes compared to a stationary state if there is flow. When the ultrasonic signal is transmitted and received between the upstream and downstream detectors/transducers through the moving liquid, a difference in the passage/propagation time occurs between upstream and downstream. The flow velocity/flow rate is calculated from this time difference and indicated/outputted.
