Asahi rice, which is beloved as Okayama's rice, has long been prized for sushi rice and is considered to be the root of Koshihikari rice.
This time, we aim to realize a remote monitoring system utilizing IoT technology in collaboration with the Bichu Prefectural Agricultural and Forestry Department (Niimi Agricultural Extension Center) and others. Our activities will focus on developing a low-cost water level gauge specifically for measuring water levels in fields, investigating its usability, accuracy, durability, and other factors, and promoting the adoption of simple water level gauges based on the results.
