Mechatronics Tech Japan MECT2021

The ultra-high pressure coolant chip breaking system HPB (High Pressure Breaker) uses ultra-high pressure (7-30 MPa) coolant liquid to cool the cutting edge precisely, and the hydraulic pressure of the high-pressure water acts as a chip breaker, finely fragmenting the chips and quickly discharging them from the cutting area. Conventional shower-type coolants apply coolant over the entire area, resulting in weak cooling effects on the insert chip cutting edge, which can lead to heat accumulation and efficiency reduction due to tool wear when machining difficult materials like Inconel. The next-generation coolant HPB system addresses long-standing issues related to productivity, tool life, and correction work. Notably, improvements are particularly significant in low-carbon steel processing in the automotive industry at pressures above 14 MPa. HIPRECO offers a series ranging from 7 to 30 MPa, including a smart type that fits within a one-square-meter space. It can also be retrofitted. If you are struggling with chip processing or are interested in automating machine cutting, please visit our booth. We will provide explanations while showing actual chip samples and videos. 【Workshop Announcement】 October 22, Friday, 15:20-16:00, Room 3 Conference Room, Promoting Automation in Machining: 'Chip Fragmentation'
