We have implemented processing that can read two-dimensional codes that are tilted or slanted, achieving high-speed simultaneous reading of multiple codes. Detecting QR codes can be challenging when they are printed in color, as it becomes difficult to distinguish between the QR code and the background color. Additionally, QR codes that are tilted may become distorted in the captured image, making them undetectable. Our unique preprocessing corrects these issues, enabling reading in various environments. If there is no distortion in the details of the QR codes in the captured image, we can read all QR codes within the camera's field of view at once. Even with preprocessing for exploring and correcting the entire image, our system is optimized for PC operation, ensuring high speed and stability for simultaneous reading. Using matching and image synthesis techniques, we connect multiple images taken in succession to create a smooth composite image with seamless joins!

This is a technical appeal from a company specializing in image processing. Using matching and image synthesis technology, we stitch together multiple images taken in succession. The result is a smooth composite image where the seams are indistinguishable. To showcase the "stitching (synthesis) performance" of our image stitching system, we intentionally captured images using a poor (highly variable) mechanical system. Each time, the three-dimensional map of the subject shakes significantly, but after capturing and synthesizing the images, we automatically correct for both the "position of the seams" and the "smoothness of the brightness at the seams," making it appear as a single image. This high-quality composite image is obtained quickly, allowing for real-time display during synthesis. Correct the rotation and positional deviation of the input image to always align it in the same position *High-speed and high-precision detection of rotation deviation.

This is a technical appeal from a company specializing in image processing. Tracking is a pattern matching technique that corrects the rotation and positional deviation of the input image, aligning it to the same position consistently. The feature of this demo is its ability to detect rotational deviations quickly and accurately compared to other pattern matching methods. By switching the tracking ON/OFF at regular intervals, it demonstrates how a rotating target comes to a complete stop. The object placed at the center of the image input from a USB camera is the target, and it maintains its position and angle even with movement and rotation. By processing only the logo, it detects rotation and positional deviation, displaying the adjustments by rotating or moving it in the opposite direction, creating the illusion that "the background is rotating" or that "only the logo is being cut out."

NDT Mart & Rental Co., Ltd. began selling its new electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness gauge, 'EMAT WIFI', on January 19, 2026. ◆ Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge 'EMAT WIFI' The 'EMAT WIFI' is a thickness gauge that uses the electromagnetic ultrasonic (EMAT) method, which does not require a couplant (contact medium). Unlike conventional ultrasonic thickness gauges (UT), there is no need to apply a couplant; thickness measurements can be taken simply by placing the probe on the measurement target, making it ideal for beginners and screening in large-scale sites. It can measure materials with paint, scale, thick linings, and slight surface roughness, significantly reducing the hassle of pre-treatment. Additionally, it is equipped with WiFi communication capabilities, allowing for the confirmation and management of measurement data and waveforms in conjunction with smartphones and tablets. This facilitates smooth sharing of measurement results and data management on-site. It is optimal for measuring wall thickness and conducting corrosion inspections of plant equipment, piping, tanks, and steel structures. It employs a dual measurement method using electromagnetic and eddy current techniques, allowing for automatic differentiation between ferrous and non-ferrous substrates to measure coating thickness. The measurement range accommodates up to 3,500μm, making it suitable for measuring coatings from general painting to heavy anti-corrosion coatings and linings. With a measurement speed of approximately 0.2 seconds, it allows for efficient measurements even in inspection tasks that require multiple points.
