The "BIO X" is a desktop bio 3D printer equipped with an intelligent print head (iPH) that can accommodate a wide range of materials. It features two high-output fans at the top of the device, which pressurize the cavity with clean air filtered through HEPA filters and other means. The "CytoSoft Discovery Kit" consists of a set of 7 plates in a 6-well format that covers physiological stiffness, with stiffness levels of 0.2, 0.5, 2, 8, 16, 32, and 64 kPa. When dermal fibroblasts were cultured on CytoSoft plates at 0.2, 8, and 64 kPa, significant formation of F-actin stress fibers was observed in the 0.2 kPa and 64 kPa environments.
