Tōei Shinyaku Co., Ltd. (located in Mitaka City, Tokyo, CEO: Akira Motoi) has established a measurement method for β-glucan, the main component of Agaricus, as a result of research conducted in collaboration with the Department of Immunology at Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, focusing on our field-cultivated Agaricus KA21 strain (hereinafter referred to as Agaricus KA21). We are pleased to announce that this research outcome has been registered as a patent under the title "Measurement Method for β-1,6-Glucanase Mutant and β-1,6-Glucan."
