A rotary air knife that seems like it should exist but doesn't The Sonic Corporation's rotary air knife (patented) has been developed for draining (blow-off) and drying parts with complex shapes. The gaps in the air knife are angled at 15° relative to the rotating axis, allowing it to eject high-speed air while changing the blowing surface at regular intervals for the areas that require draining or drying.
