Sonic Corporation Air Knife System Case Studies (rev.1)

We have started to reissue the catalog for tank dryers specialized for IBCs and totes. Sonic Air Systems' "DRY-IN-PLACE Tank Dryer" is a patented system that efficiently dries the interiors of tanks, IBCs, hoppers, barrels, and more. It eliminates the need for conventional heating devices and manual wiping, providing uniform drying with pressurized hot air at temperatures ranging from 150°F to 275°F. It circulates high-flow air at low pressure of 1-2 psig, achieving energy-efficient and rapid drying. This system is ideal for post-CIP drying in environments requiring hygiene management, such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemical plants, contributing to improved product quality and safety. There are plenty of options available, such as portable blower carts and HEPA filters, allowing for customization to fit the installation environment. Compared to traditional drying methods, significant savings in time and energy can be expected.
