Especially when removing water from wide products with a compressor, a large amount of air and a certain length of air knife are required. In other words, a significant cost is incurred to generate the air. Sonic Corporation's blower employs a centrifugal blower that can produce a large volume of air. This blower operates at low horsepower and can generate airflow equivalent to or greater than that of a compressor. This large volume of air creates high-speed air from Sonic Corporation's tear-shaped air knife, and the wind speed breaks the surface tension. This is how water removal/drying is performed.
