The SCG-HSS is a vacuum-type hand designed to stably transport workpieces with complex surface shapes, such as uneven implementation boards. The suction surface features "alignment pins" arranged in a cylindrical manner, allowing it to flexibly conform to the surface of the workpiece. It can follow large unevenness that was difficult with conventional pads, enabling secure handling and transport of workpieces with more complex surfaces. The operation of the pins is pneumatic, making it easy to use without special setup. By simply fixing the pins to match the workpiece, it can be used like a dedicated hand, reducing the need for designing and manufacturing custom hands or the hassle of changing hands each time, thereby contributing to increased productivity. The general-purpose vacuum gripper FQE is a small robotic hand that uses sponge or suction pads on its gripping surface. It is very effective for handling workpieces with gaps, workpieces that are not positioned accurately, and bulk transport of various sizes of workpieces. Since one hand can accommodate various workpieces, it eliminates the need for designing and exchanging hands tailored to specific workpieces, contributing to time savings and increased productivity. Additionally, since the FQE complies with ISO/TS 15066, it can be utilized not only in automated transport processes with industrial robots but also in collaborative work with humans using collaborative robots. The configuration of the vacuum gripper allows for the selection of suitable specifications based on individual applications, including the presence or absence of a vacuum generator, the type of gripping surface, three types of gripper sizes, and valve types.

Managing parts individually enables space-saving storage and maintenance of spare parts. The parts are made from lightweight and highly durable 6000 series aluminum, allowing for weight reduction of the hand. This reduces the load on the robot, achieving high-speed and stable transport, contributing to increased takt time.

The suction pad SAXB is the latest model of the "SA series," which has over 20 years of proven performance for pads designed for oil-coated steel plates. The SA series demonstrates high holding power against steel plates with an oil film by designing grooves on the suction surface to allow oil to escape, contributing to reduced cycle times. The new product "SAXB" features a bellows shape, enhancing its adaptability to the uneven shapes of body parts and other components. Additionally, the presence of the bellows helps to cushion impacts during suction, reducing the load on the workpiece. The pad is made from Elasto-Dur, which excels in wear resistance and flexibility.
