[Farad] ★5G★60GHz★E band (87GHz) drone-mounted ★radio wave observation

As the use of high-frequency data bands becomes more common, the high-quality design of communication towers is becoming increasingly important. Measuring frequencies above 56 GHz on the ground is extremely difficult. To obtain accurate characteristics, measurements need to be taken near the transmitter, which often requires climbing the base station tower. This involves time, costs, and security risks. The solution developed by the Electronic Communications Office of Latvia (ECO), microwave equipment manufacturer SAF Tehnika JSC, and technology innovation company LMT allows for quick and easy collection of necessary data through a drone equipped with special software and SAF's compact spectrum analyzer (weighing less than 600g, with a 3-hour battery life, and capable of measuring up to 87 GHz) flying around the base station tower, enabling accurate measurements.
