By innovating the coating conditions, a surface treatment has been created that imparts water-repellent properties similar to fluororesin to DLC coatings. ■□■Features■□■ ■DLC coating with hardness equivalent to carbide (HV 1,000) and low friction coefficient (μ = 0.04 to 0.17). ■Due to its darker color compared to standard DLC products, it can be used for anti-reflective applications (wear resistance + thin film + black coating). ■Prevents mold contamination and contributes to improved productivity. ■Special specifications are available to enhance surface pressure against impacts in the vertical direction, which was a weakness of DLC. ■Applicable materials: carbide, SKH, SKD, SUJ2, SUS, ceramics, aluminum. ■Coating size: φ300 × 200 mm. ■Film thickness settings: standard 1 to 2 μm; ultra-thin films of 0.1 μm are also available. ■If you have experienced peeling with conventional DLC, please give it a try.
