■Solvent Purification Device■ The organic solvent purification device is a system that removes moisture and oxygen from solvents. It is a safe and efficient purification method that replaces thermal distillation, allowing for the quick and safe collection of solvents that require the removal of oxygen and moisture during experiments. ●Process● The solvent to be purified is placed in a storage container, and the solvent is transferred in liquid form from the container using low-pressure nitrogen gas. The solvent passes through two stainless steel columns filled with activated alumina, copper catalyst, and molecular sieves (as desired). As the solvent passes through the columns, moisture and oxygen are removed, resulting in a dry solvent. The purified solvent can be collected in flasks or syringes under a nitrogen atmosphere.
