◆ Shot blasting, unlike air blasting, does not use compressed air as the power to inject abrasive materials. Instead, it utilizes the rotation of a motor to spin blades at high speeds. ◆ The blades are designed to forcibly feed the abrasive material, which is then ejected by the rapidly rotating blades. ◆ The device that ejects the material is commonly referred to as a "rotor" (also known as an impeller). A significant difference from air blasting is that shot blasting can eject a much larger amount of abrasive material with less power. ◆ When using a 3-horsepower compressor to eject from a single nozzle compared to ejecting from a rotor powered by the same 3-horsepower motor, shot blasting can eject approximately 200 times the amount of abrasive material per minute compared to air blasting (this may vary slightly depending on conditions). ◆ The shot blasting machine uses the rotation of a motor to spin blades at high speeds for ejection. ◆ We have various blast machines that meet your needs, so please contact us for more details.
