This new material, formed using a unique method from hollow polyester and carefully selected wool, absorbs moisture during humid conditions and releases internal moisture during dry conditions, providing optimal humidity control for the piano. The sound reduction effect of the upright piano soundproofing device is approximately 15 to 22 decibels, comparable to double-glazed window construction.
