Therefore, it is possible to configure a control loop without using a controller. The control unit of ELEMENT maintains a constant pressurized state internally and prevents the intrusion of dust and dirt from the outside. The FreshAir function circulates exhaust air into the control unit and the spring chamber of the actuator during the opening and closing operation of the valve, keeping it clean. By incorporating the FreshAir function, condensation is prevented inside the control unit, and the spring chamber of the actuator can be kept in a clean state.

The Burkert electric positioner does not bleed and does not use unnecessary instrument air. It helps reduce instrument air consumption, power consumption, and CO2 emissions due to decreased compressor operating rates. Additionally, there is only one exhaust point from the positioner. When used in clean rooms, it allows for easy exhaust of instrument air to the outside. *Bleed: Instrument air is used only when the valve is open. It does not consume instrument air when stopped at intermediate positions.
