Efficiently optimizing joint delivery through semi-automatic dispatch.
Joint delivery of food groceries requires careful management of people, vehicles, and delivery routes due to significant fluctuations in delivery destinations and package volumes. Additionally, the large number of product items and the absence of a common delivery destination master for shippers made systematization difficult. POT dispatch is a semi-automated dispatch management software that leverages the experience of drivers. It consolidates delivery destination names based on shipping instructions and calculates loading capacity by route and vehicle for dispatching. Next, it creates picking lists by vehicle and also generates operation instructions. By integrating with POT Manager, it enables centralized management from receipt to delivery planning.

basic information
◆Mechanism of Joint Delivery The delivery destination names vary by shipper, so we sort the invoices by delivery destination and confirm the shipping volume for each destination. Next, we determine the delivery route and arrange vehicles that match the shipping volume. ◆Automatic Generation of Delivery Destination Master Using shipping instruction data from the shipper and fax shipping instructions, we consolidate by delivery destination name and automatically generate the delivery destination master and product master. New delivery destinations can have area codes and delivery destination codes added. ◆Return Instructions and Transfer Instructions In addition to shipping instructions, we also accommodate return instructions and transfer instructions. These are independent of loading capacity. ◆Manual Setting of Delivery Routes Based on the driver's experience, delivery routes can be set manually. Stores can be dragged to vehicles with a mouse according to the delivery destination. This allows for the calculation of loading capacity to determine if it is not exceeded. ◆Saving Delivery Route Data Delivery destinations assigned to the delivery course will be automatically assigned from the next time, so only new stores need to be added. ◆Issuance of Store-Specific Picking Lists and Operation Instructions Once vehicle allocation is complete, we create store-specific picking lists and operation instructions for the delivery route. These can also be created during the vehicle allocation process, so there is no need to keep the site waiting.
