【Case Study】 ○Customer request… We would like to measure the magnetic field of a magnetic product used for iron removal. ○Proposal from Towa Seisakusho… We received a request from a food manufacturer customer who is using a rod-shaped product made of permanent magnets for iron removal, asking us to measure the generated magnetic field. They wanted to inspect the demagnetization of the permanent magnets annually as a management indicator for the iron removal device. Generally, magnetic products for iron removal have a magnetic field distribution, and measuring with a Gauss meter alone can lead to poor reproducibility and make evaluation difficult.
