The tapered shape is designed to fit multiple ports with one size. It features a specially designed shape for powder coating and "E" coating finishing systems, allowing it to be safely used at extremely high temperatures of up to 232°C. All of our silicone plugs with an outlet diameter larger than 27.00 are of this hollow type. *There is also the HBES series (material: EPDM) which has excellent chemical resistance.
