Furthermore, since it does not use electricity for transmission, it does not introduce noise even when wired near devices that are easily affected by electromagnetic interference. The VAD-SD001E.L1.xxx transmits a single channel of 10/100M Ethernet over single-mode optical fiber for up to 20 km and over multi-mode optical fiber for up to 2 km, making it effective for LAN connections to distant locations. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, making it suitable for operation in harsh environments.
