Silver colloid activator
The Dainakuchi PB-830Z is a silver (Ag) colloid activator used as a catalyst additive for electroless copper plating on various plastics, coating resin films, fibers, and paper. It can be used as an alternative to traditional palladium catalysts, providing adhesion properties equivalent to those of palladium (Pd). Additionally, since there is no residual Pd smut, it prevents issues caused by overflow during subsequent electroless Ni to Au plating after copper plating.

【Features】 〇 This is an activator that uses silver (Ag) colloid as a replacement for conventional palladium (Pd) catalysts. 〇 It can be widely used for catalyzing electroless copper plating on non-metallic materials such as plastic molded products, printed circuit boards including build-up methods, textile fabrics, and paper. 〇 It is particularly suitable for plating on housings, textile fabrics, and mats for EMI shielding. 〇 When applied to build-up method substrates, it prevents the residual Pd smut and avoids overflow of electroless Ni–Au plating and insulation failures in products. 〇 The use of a dedicated cleaner conditioner (PB-810) as a pretreatment promotes the adsorption of silver colloid. ● For other functions and details, please contact us.
