basic information
**Course Objectives and Aims** Silica microparticles are one of the inorganic materials widely used in industry, and their applications are so diverse that they are difficult to fully grasp. When dispersing silica microparticles in a solvent or heterogeneous solid, the physical properties of the dispersion system greatly depend on the dispersion state of the microparticles. Therefore, controlling and evaluating the characteristics of the surface and interface of silica is important. This course will introduce the basic properties of silica microparticles, methods for surface evaluation, surface modification techniques for silica, and the evaluation and preparation of dispersion systems.
