Permeable Resin Mortar System Construction Method Council PRMS Multifunctional Construction Method
It is a multifunctional construction method made of materials with excellent functional durability, which not only suppresses freezing effects during winter but also has noise reduction effects.
The "PRMS (Palms) multifunctional construction method" is a technique that fills the voids in the surface aggregate of drainage paint with elastic resin mortar. It uses special elastic aggregate (product name "PRMS elastic aggregate") and special urethane resin as filling materials, offering excellent durability, freeze prevention effects in snowy cold regions, and further noise reduction compared to drainage pavement. The "PRMS elastic aggregate" is made from recycled tires that have been chipped and coated with inorganic powder and resin, resulting in granules (approximately 1mm to 2mm). The coating optimizes the elasticity of the recycled tire chips and improves adhesion with the urethane resin binder, significantly enhancing the durability of the elastic resin mortar. Additionally, the durability of functions such as preventing clogging of the voids in drainage paint has been improved. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
**Features** ○ Improved durability of elastic aggregates → Uses a special elastic aggregate 'PRMS elastic aggregate' as a filler. Waste tires are chipped and coated with an inorganic powder and resin, resulting in granules (approximately 1mm to 2mm) that optimize the elasticity of the waste tire chips through coating. → Good adhesion with urethane resin binder. → A groundbreaking material that significantly enhances the durability of elastic resin mortar. → Improved durability of functions such as preventing clogging of voids in drainage coatings. ○ Freeze prevention effect → In indoor tests, it was confirmed that a 2mm ice plate formed on the test specimen was crushed when traversed by a test wheel, comparing the crushing situation with that of drainage pavement. → The freeze prevention effect was confirmed in test construction on actual roads. → Measures against freezing, such as black ice, are expected. ○ Noise reduction effect → Noise measurements (special tire proximity sound) were taken between sections constructed with the PRMS multifunctional method and unconstructed sections (drainage coating), resulting in an average reduction effect of about 3dB. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
