High-speed machine vision camera QUARTZ series Q-4A180

Adimec announced today the industry's first dual CoaXPress-compatible area scan camera, the Quartz Q-4A180/CXP. This product achieves the performance and convenience of the CoaXPress standard, and through the unique combination of Adimec True Accurate Imaging® and proven global shutter CMOS technology, it enables CCD-equivalent image quality at unparalleled speed. It achieves 180 fps transmission at 10-bit, with a resolution of 2048 x 2048, using two coaxial cables over 60 meters in length without the need for repeaters. This allows for long-distance transmission without the additional costs of repeaters or extenders, and the cost of these two cables is only about one-tenth that of a single camera link cable. Additionally, the CoaXPress standard supplies power over the same cable, eliminating the need for a separate power connection. At the Image Sensing Expo 2011 (June 8-10, Pacifico Yokohama), this product is scheduled to be demonstrated in combination with a frame grabber from Aval Data.

Adimec, a provider of industrial camera solutions, has today launched the Q-4A150, the latest model in its QUARTZ camera series featuring CMOSIS sensors. This product is designed for inspection and image measurement applications that require high frame rates at a cost-effective price without compromising measurement accuracy. It achieves continuous readout at 157 fps using an 8-tap Camera Link frame grabber, and can reach 180 fps in burst mode. With an 8-tap Camera Link system configuration, it provides frame rates equivalent to 10-tap without incurring costs or integration issues associated with upgrades.
