Vacuum forming is an optimal molding method for small-batch, diverse production and large-scale plastic molding.
Vacuum forming and pressure forming methods have a higher unit cost compared to injection molding, which is representative of plastic molding. However, the molds for vacuum forming only require one type of either concave or convex, unlike injection molding or sheet metal pressing, and often can be made from inexpensive resin molds instead of metal molds. This results in lower costs and shorter production times. The cost of the forming molds is about 1/6 to 1/10 that of injection molding molds, making it very effective for small lot production, short delivery times, and especially for large products.

basic information
There are broadly two types of vacuum forming. One is continuous forming, which produces thin and small items like egg packs and blister packs. This is often associated with mass production, and our company does not engage in this. Our vacuum forming is of the other type, known as single-shot forming, where sheets that cannot be rolled (usually around 2 to 6 mm thick) are cut to a size larger than the mold and then manually set into the forming machine one shot at a time for shaping. This method is suitable for low-volume production of various types of items that are thick and have a large surface area. It is commonly used in fields such as interior and exterior parts for special vehicles and heavy machinery, advertising signs, residential equipment parts, and amusement-related products. ● Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Company information
Since its establishment in 1975 in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, we have been engaged in consistent production from processing to assembly using plastic sheets (boards) as raw materials. The production using plastic sheets is suitable for small to medium-sized, diverse production or prototypes, and is utilized in various fields such as the interiors and exteriors of large vehicles and special vehicles, production equipment in high-tech fields, parts for machine tools, medical device components, aircraft parts, fixtures for commercial facilities, displays for museums, and building materials for exteriors. We mainly use acrylic, PVC, polycarbonate, PET, PP, PE, ABS, AES, and artificial marble. We primarily perform vacuum forming, pressure forming, R bending, adhesive welding, NC processing, and polishing with the above resins. Among these, we have focused on thermal processing since our founding. Thermal processing methods such as R bending and vacuum forming require not only equipment but also experience and intuition. In particular, R bending of transparent materials like polycarbonate has received high praise from many clients. Additionally, our vacuum forming is suitable for large items and small lot production of diverse products due to its single-shot forming capability. In our daily production, we always maintain a commitment and theme, continuously striving for improvement and enhancing our vacuum forming technology without being satisfied with the current state.
