The tear strength of materials such as paper, film, and fabric is measured by the loss of potential energy of a pendulum in a sector shape, and the calculation results are displayed digitally.
● Pressing the start key automatically begins the tear test. ● After the tear test is completed, when the pendulum swings up to the left, the pendulum catcher grabs the pendulum, enhancing safety. ● An air clamp is used, allowing for one-touch attachment of the test specimen. ● By entering the number of test specimens, the tear strength per specimen can be displayed. Additionally, by inputting the basis weight and thickness, the specific tear strength and energy/cross-sectional area can be calculated. ● A line graph of the tear strength can be displayed. ● A printer can be connected.
