Space development is an extremely important endeavor to expand humanity's territory. However, due to the thin commercial profits relative to its costs, it is in a situation where it is difficult to establish itself as a self-sustaining industry on a global scale. In particular, in Japan, many young engineers have aspirations for space development, yet the situation has persisted where they transition to other fields along the way. However, in recent years, advancements in miniaturization and weight reduction technologies have significantly reduced the costs of launching satellites into orbit, increasing the momentum for industrialization. MUSCAT Space Engineering Co., Ltd. has been developing software to support satellite design, focusing on the analysis of space environment durability since its establishment in September 2006. Moving forward, we intend to expand into new space technologies that include hardware development considering space environment durability, while continuing our traditional operations.
