DNA extraction from tissues and cells.
DNAdvance is a kit for extracting and purifying DNA from various tissues such as liver, kidney, and mouse tails, as well as from cultured cells. It demonstrates a high purification yield of 33 μg of DNA from 20 mg of liver samples, and similarly high yields from other tissues. Furthermore, the purified DNA has a low degree of degradation (DIN>8; DNA Integrity Number) and shows good PCR amplification, making it ideal for next-generation sequencing library preparation. Additional protocols are available for extraction from oral swabs and saliva.
